A musical adaption of a popular children's series is coming to Glasgow this month. 

Disney’s Winnie the Pooh - The New Musical Stage Adaptation, will be at the King’s Theatre from Thursday, July 20 until Saturday, July 22 July as part of a UK and Ireland tour.

The fresh stage adaptation, which broke records during its New York premiere in 2021, will be told with life-size puppetry.

Accompanied by an original score by Nate Edmondson, the musical will also feature some of the Grammy award-winning songs written by the Sherman Brothers for the original animated features.

Benjamin Durham will play Winnie the Pooh, with Eeyore, Piglet, Rabbit, Owl, Kanga and Roo played by the likes of Laura Bacon (Britain’s Got Talent, Star Wars), Harry Boyd (The Play That Goes Wrong, Buddy: The Buddy Holly Story), Alex Cardall (Evita, The Osmonds: A New Musical), Chloe Gentles (Mamma Mia!, Beautiful: The Carole King Musical), Lottie Grogan (Smurfs Save Spring: The Musical, The Lips for Puppets with Guys) and Robbie Noonan (Avenue Q UK Tour, Jack and the Beanstalk).
