A POPULAR Glasgow bar has announced its closure with plans to reopen soon under a new name.
Finlays Bar, located on Kilmarnock Road in Shawlands, shared the news on Facebook.
The pub said: "S, the news is out.
"Welcome to your new and improved local, The Millwood.
"Finlay’s will close at midnight on Saturday, July 22 and we’re so excited to reopen as The Millwood on August 18.
"Keep watching this space for updates."
It is understood the venue's owners will not change but the space is getting a full refurbishment during the almost-a-month-long closure.
