An emergency response was called to a residential street where a man was found dead.
999 crews were seen near the Torriden Street area of Coatbridge on Monday evening.
The force revealed that they had been called to a report of a man taking unwell.
When emergency services arrived at the scene, the man was pronounced dead.
His death is not being treated as suspicious.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 6pm on Monday, July 31, 2023, officers were made aware of a man taking unwell on Torriden Street, Coatbridge.
“Emergency services attended, and the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
“The death is not being treated as suspicious.”
