A good Samaritan has been praised for coming to the aid of someone who almost fainted in a supermarket.
The shopper was in Iceland at the Bishopbriggs retail park on Monday when they became 'very close to passing out'.
A woman working at the shop then approached the person to help, and their efforts for going 'out of their way' has been praised on social media.
A post shared on the community group no1seems2care read: "Hi, I don’t know her name but would love to say thank you to the lady working in Iceland at Bishopbriggs Retail Park.
"Today, I was very close to passing out and she came over to make sure I was okay and went out of her way to help, she got me a bar of chocolate and a chair and was such a sweetheart, I take bad turns a lot and have never had anyone act as kind as she did.
"Thank you for your help, care and compassion."
The story was met with a strong positive reaction from the community, with one person saying: "There are some wee angels in the world."
Another wrote: "How kind well done the lady that looked after you."
A third said: "Well done to this lady for being so caring and kind."
