A 12-year-old boy has been rushed to hospital following a crash in Glasgow today.
The incident, which involved one vehicle, occurred on Great Western Road at about 8am.
It is currently not known what caused the incident.
The boy's condition is also unknown.
However, a Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 8am on Thursday, August 17, we received a report of a crash involving a pedestrian and a car on Great Western Road, Glasgow.
"Emergency services attended and the pedestrian, a 12-year-old boy, was taken to hospital."
