A private dining company has applied for permission to take over a unit near Glasgow's SWG3.

Fallachan Dining applied for permission to convert one of the railway arches into a restaurant and cafe.

If successful, arch 15, just off Eastvale Street, will become the company's new dining space, according to their website.

Previously, the site was used as a prep kitchen for a local doughnut company.

Now, plans reveal it would become a "prep space for the applicant’s current business activities, often cooking for clients on location, as well as operating as a 12-seat dining space for both private and public guests".

The papers also reveal: "The space will also be home to various educational events, such as cookery classes, fermentation and bread making, and talks from industry professionals on seasonal produce".

It is expected the business would be open from noon until midnight, Sunday to Monday.

Fallachan Dining creates exclusive dining experiences and tailored events for clients.

This comes after bids were submitted by Network Rail to convert two other units on the same street into shops.

In May, SWG3 has also revealed plans for a "hotel for music lovers" in the area.
