A PERVERT with a "porn addiction" tried to import a child sex doll from abroad.

Darren Morrison purchased the Asian 'orphan' figure named Chi Chi from a seller in Hong Kong.

The 31-year-old paid $2,600 for the 55-inch doll which was seized by border force officials.

Morrison later requested a refund, stating: “I was really looking forward to meeting her but it wasn’t meant to be.”

Morrison’s home in Glasgow’s Springburn was raided and a sick haul of images was found on a phone and laptop.

He pleaded guilty at Glasgow Sheriff Court to importing or being concerned in importing a child-like sex doll.

Morrison also admitted to possession of indecent photographs of children.

The court heard a border force officer at East Midlands Airport intercepted two boxes on August 11, 2021.

Prosecutor Lauren Donnelly said: “Examination of the first box found that it contained a body of a child-like sex doll and accessories.

“The second box contained a child-like head for the body.”

The figure was seized and Police Scotland were informed.

Morrison's home was raided and a laptop and mobile phone were seized then searched.

There were a total of 1,001 still images of children and five videos lasting two hours and 39 minutes.

Officers researched the company Morrison had purchased the doll from and found an item similar in appearance.

Miss Donnelly stated that the doll was named "Chi Chi eldest orphan from Asia."

An email chain was uncovered where Morrison discussed the purchase and delivery of the doll.

Morrison appeared to be aware that it was lost in transit and requested a refund.

It is then he made the comment about meeting the doll.

John Kilcoyne, defending, told the court that Morrison has a previous sex offence conviction.

The lawyer added Morrison has a "porn addiction" and is seeing a counsellor on a monthly basis.

Mr Kilcoyne said: "He is very realistic in that this is his second offence and the likely outcome is custody."

Sentening was deferred pending background reports until next month by Sheriff Iain Fleming who granted Morrison bail meantime.
