Drivers have been advised that the area will be particularly busy during peak times, and no diversions will be in place.

The fresh set of works is part of the ongoing Network Rail work at Anniesland train station, which has already seen the closure of the station's footpath, parking bays and the inside eastbound lane of Great Western Road in a bid to improve accessibility.

The closures are all part of the station's main project, which will begin at the end of September and is expected to take 12 months. Once complete, those with impaired mobility or travelling with luggage, children or bicycles will have easier access to station platforms.
