South Lanarkshire Council is looking for public opinions on a proposal to change the catchment areas of three Larkhall schools.

The council has proposed to change the catchment areas of Glengowan Primary, Machanhill Primary and Robert Smillie Memorial Primary to balance pupil numbers more effectively and better align housing developments in Larkhall to the school.

Locals are being asked to share their views on the proposals.

Details on this proposal are contained in the consultation proposal document which can be found here.

And local residents can submit their comments using the online consultation survey.

A public meeting will take place on September 13 at Machanhill Primary School, to register for this meeting email educationconsultations@southlanarkshire.gov.uk or call 01698 455698.
