A burst pipe in Glasgow has caused water supply issues for customers.

Scottish Water has announced that a water pipe on Friarton Road, in the Southside, has burst.

Engineers are working to solve the problem and according to the company, it would take around four hours to fix.

The supplier said: "The water supply will gradually return to normal for customers once the repair has been completed. We expect it will take up to an hour for all customers to have normal water supply restored.

"While we carry out the repair please be aware that you may experience no water supply, low or intermittent pressure or discoloured water.

"At present, we expect to complete the repair in a timeframe which means we do not plan to provide bottled at distribution locations."
