A MAN has been arrested and charged following a sexual assault of a woman in Hamilton.
Officers say the incident happened at around 5.35pm on Monday, August 28, in Palace Grounds Road.
Now, cops confirmed a 41-year-old has been charged in connection with the sexual assault.
He was released on an undertaking to appear at Hamilton Sheriff Court at a later date, while a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
A spokesperson for the force said: "A 41-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with the sexual assault of a woman in Hamilton."
