UPDATED: Lila has now been traced.
A teen who has been reported missing is believed to be in Glasgow.
Lila McGee, 14, was last seen boarding a train at Helensburgh Central Train Station at 6.24am today to Glasgow Queen Street.
The train’s destination was Edinburgh Waverley, however, it is believed she alighted in Glasgow.
Lila is described as around 5ft 6ins tall, slim build, with dark brown curly hair and a fringe.
She wears silver-framed square glasses and is believed to be wearing dark-coloured trousers, dark trainers, and a white baggy jacket with pink/red sleeves over a black hooded top.
She may have the hood pulled up covering her head.
She is thought to have a light-coloured bag with her.
Inspector Barry Convery from Helensburgh Police Station said: “This behaviour is completely out of character for Lila and we are growing concerned for her welfare.
“We would ask anyone who may have been on a train heading towards Glasgow city centre from Helensburgh this morning (14 September), or anyone who may have seen her in Glasgow since this time, to get in touch with officers.
“Any sightings of Lila should be reported to police immediately or anyone who may have information that can help trace her.”
Those with information should call Police Scotland on 101 and quote incident number 0785 of September 14, 2023.
