Two men have been arrested for an alleged murder bid after a cyclist was reportedly mowed down on Duke Street.
The men, aged 25 and 33, appeared in court on Tuesday, September 12 following the crash involving a car and a cyclist.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Two men have been arrested and charged in connection with attempted murder, following a crash involving a car and cyclist in the Duke Street area of Glasgow, around 9.50am on Monday, September 4, 2023.
“The pair – aged 25 and 33 – appeared at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Tuesday, September 12, 2023.”
We previously reported that a male cyclist was rushed to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital on September 4 after being struck by a car.
At the time, the force claimed the occupants of the vehicle had left the scene on foot.
Duke Street was closed for several hours between Millerston Street and Bellgrove Street following the incident.
