999 crews were called to flames at an Uddingston Chinese restaurant.
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service was alerted of a fire on the town's Main Street, around 8.25am this morning.
An eyewitness said on Facebook: "Mr Rice in Uddingston Main Street is on fire and police and fire service are in attendance at the moment.
"I would avoid the area just now."

The address is believed to be Mr Rice, a local Chinese takeaway.
Three fire trucks arrived at the scene and the flames were extinguished by around 10am.
No injuries have been reported and emergency services left the scene.
