CCTV images have been released after an attempted robbery at a convenience store.
The incident occurred at the USave shop on Woodside Street in Coatbridge on Tuesday, July 18, 2023.
Officers believe the man in the images may be able to help them with their investigations and they are urging him or anyone who knows him to get in touch.
He is described as being white, around 5ft 5in tall and of slim build.
He has dark hair and is estimated to be aged between 18 and 20 years old.
At the time of the incident, he was seen to be wearing a black jumper and grey and black shorts with a camouflage-style pattern.
Detective Constable Lisa McMullen said: "We are keen to speak to this male who may be able to assist us with our enquiries. I would encourage him or anyone who recognises him to please contact us.
"The male pictured or anyone who recognises him or has any information is asked to contact Police Scotland via 101 quoting incident number 3700 of July 18, 2023.
"Alternatively, please call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 where you can give information anonymously.”
