A cyclist was rushed to hospital after being hit by a van in Glasgow.
Emergency services were called to Carntyne Square before 5pm this afternoon, following reports of the incident.
The cyclist was taken to the Royal Infirmary for treatment and a man was charged with road traffic offences.
A local, who was at the scene shortly after the crash, said the cyclist was seen lying on the ground. He also pictured a white van at the scene, along with several police vehicles.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 4.45pm on Monday, September 25, 2023 we received a report of a crash involving a van and a cyclist.
"The male cyclist was taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary for treatment.
"A man was charged with road traffic offences."
