A Glasgow city centre street has been taped off by emergency services due to an unsafe building.
We earlier reported that Gordon Street was closed from Hope Street to Renfield Street as debris is falling from a building.
Images from the scene show police and 'crime scene' tape erected around the street near Glasgow Central, though the station entrance is unaffected.
Police are there to assist and guide traffic elsewhere.
The closure was first confirmed by Glasgow City Council at around 7.40am but is not known when it will reopen.
A spokesperson for the council said: "Officers from our Building Standards team are on-site and will stay until any danger has been removed - masonry had fallen onto the pavement from the building across from Central Station.
"We have instructed our emergency contactor to attend with a high-reach appliance and remove the immediate danger."
