A Rutherglen football club has made a planning application to build a clubhouse at its grounds.
Rutherglen and Glencairn Junior Football Club has requested planning permission from South Lanarkshire Council to build the equipped clubhouse next to the existing carpark.
If planning is approved, the club will develop a fully-accessible facility which will have a lounge area with around 40 seats and a bar as well as toilets.
The application was received by the council on September 20 and validated on September 27.
Neighbourhood and standard consultation began on September 27 and the deadline for determining the application is November 26.
