A housing development near Glasgow has been recognised with not one, but two awards.

Colin McNeish, the site manager of Millers Homes' Stoneyetts Village in Moodiesburn, has taken home his second NHBC Pride in the Job Seal of Excellence Award.

The award recognises the commitment and dedication of site managers who consistently strive to achieve high standards when delivering new homes to communities.

A pool of around 8000 candidates in the UK is whittled down to 444 who receive a quality award, and only 14 managers in Scotland earned the Seal of Excellence.

Colin was honoured to have been awarded the accolade for the second year.

He said: "It's such an achievement to receive an NHBC Seal of Excellence award, and I'm so proud of the site team at Stoneyetts Village for all their hard work and determination in getting us here.

"This award means the world to me, and it's such a pleasure to be alongside some of the best in construction.

"I would like to thank the wider Miller Homes team, our exceptional suppliers and our wonderful residents who make Stoneyetts Village such a welcoming community."

Andrew McArthur, who is the operations director for Miller Homes Scotland West, added: "We're extremely proud of Colin for taking home a second Seal of Excellence Award win.

"It's a remarkable achievement.

"We have an excellent culture of commitment, dedication and passion for delivering homes of the highest standard to our customers in the West of Scotland, and we're excited for what next year's NHBC Pride in the Job Award brings."
