999 crews rushed to the scene of a blaze near Glasgow today.
The fire occurred on the ground floor of a 'commercial building' in Broomknoll Street, Airdrie.
The incident took place at 10.08am today and four fire trucks were dispatched to the scene.
There were no reported injuries.
A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: “We were alerted at 10.08am on Tuesday, October 10, to reports of a fire within a building in Broomknoll Street, Airdrie.
"Operations Control mobilised four appliances to the scene to extinguish the fire affecting the lower ground floor of a commercial building.
"There were no reported casualties.
"Crews left the scene after ensuring the area was made safe."
