The desperate search for a missing teenage girl has progressed after a fresh sighting of the 14-year-old was reported.
Nicole Strimbeanu disappeared from the Union Street area of the city centre around 8pm on Friday (October 13).
Now, detectives who claim she is staying with friends have revealed she was spotted on Stirlingfauld Place in the Gorbals area around noon on Sunday, October 15.
Officers are pleading for anyone who may have seen Nicole to get in touch.
She is described as around 5ft 3ins, of slim build with long, dark brown hair. It’s likely she’ll have changed clothes since the last time she was seen.
Inspector Ryan Curran said: “We know Nicole had been staying with friends and I’d appeal to her friends and their families to please come forward with any information that may assist our enquiry into her whereabouts.
“It’s vital we trace Nicole to make sure she’s safe and well. Our main priority is her welfare.”
