A telecommunications company is seeking approval to install a 30-metre mast in Bearsden.
Cornerstone has submitted a planning application for the mast, which it intends to erect at on land adjacent to Cochno Road.
The application states that twelve antennae, four dishes, a total of seven cabinets and two GPS modules would also be installed.
The location is within the Windyhill Grid Services energy facility due to be constructed in early 2024, having been given Scottish Government consent in 2022.
This project would constitute the relocation of a mast already on the site, which is considered detrimental to operations as it is too close to the main access road.
The application can be viewed on East Dunbartonshire Council’s website by searching for application number TP/ED/23/0591. At time of writing no comments had been published.
