UPDATE: A man has died following the incident.
Two roads were locked down due to a 'police incident'.
Cops put closures in place on Farmeloan Road and Victoria Street in Rutherglen at around 9pm on Tuesday night.
The force said this was due to a police incident and drivers were urged to use an alternative route.

South Lanarkshire Council also confirmed the closures on Tuesday night.
Farmeloan Road, Rutherglen has been closed between Cambuslang Road and Main Street due to a Police Incident. Local diversions are in place

The nature of the incident is not yet known but Glasgow Times has contacted Police Scotland for a statement.
