Plans have been submitted for a Greggs to replace a clothing retailer on a busy shopping street.
The fast food outlet has applied for permission to make alterations to 319 Byres Road where Caledonian Countrywear (CCW) is located.
If approved, this would be the second Greggs store on the street, as there is already a branch on Byres Road at number 259.
The proposal involves the repainting of the existing timber shopfronts and the installation of a new fascia sign as well as a projecting sign.
CCW specialises in outdoor wear with designs inspired by Scotland and has other locations in St Andrews and Callander.
Glasgow City Council is still considering the proposal and CCW has been contacted for comment.
