Described as a "firm favourite" amongst families, the event has seen thousands of babies and their parents attend the Baby’s First Christmas event which started in 2005.

The first 250 tots registered by their proud families can look forward to having their picture taken with the Lord Provost in the City Chambers Banqueting Hall on Saturday, December 9.

The Lord Provost said: “A baby is always a precious addition to any family. Children make Christmas special. I’m looking forward to meeting our youngest citizens. It’s a truly  magical occasion.”
