A 22-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with a death in Rutherglen.
It is the second arrest made after Stuart McGeachie, 38, was found dead in a flat near Farmeloan Road.
Mr McGeachie was assaulted outside a pub near the junction with Victoria Street around 7pm on Tuesday, October 24 2023.
He made his way to a nearby flat but died at the property.
The man, 22, is due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Friday, November 10.
We previously reported that another man, 27, appeared in court in connection with Mr McGeachie's death.
Detective Chief Inspector John Morrison said: "Our thoughts remain with Stuart’s family and friends at this very difficult time. We would like to thank the public for their help so far with our enquiries.
"Our investigation continues and we appeal for anyone who may have information which could help us, who has not yet come forward, to place contact us."
