A man has been arrested after another man was 'attacked' at a pub near Glasgow.
We reported on Wednesday that the force was called to reports of a 'serious assault' at a boozer in Campbell Street, Hamilton around 7.45pm on November 7.
A man, 47, was rushed to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment.
Now, officers have revealed that a 45-year-old man has been arrested and charged in relation to the alleged incident.
He is due to appear in court at a later date.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 7.45pm on Tuesday, November 7 2023, we received a report of a serious assault at licensed premises in Campbell Street in Hamilton.
“A 47-year-old man was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment.
“A 45-year-old man has since been arrested and charged in relation to the incident and will appear at court at a later date.”
