A first look at the stunning images of St Enoch's Christmas market as it officially kicks off the festive season in Glasgow.

Stunning images captured by the Glasgow Times show the festive spirit in full flow with the public entering the archways of the market for the first time. 

Taking place next to the popular shopping centre at the bottom of Buchanan Street, the Christmas market contains a host of stalls with festive goods.

Festive favourites such as Bratwurst sausages and chocolate kisses can be purchased at the stalls.

Glasgow Times: Glasgow Times: Passersby can enter the markets for free with a dedicated community hub serving as a platform for local artists and talent, and younger guests will be thrilled with a variety of kids' rides. 

And stalls selling handmade wooden gifts, cheeses and chocolate, jewellery, knitwear and personalised Christmas decorations may be helpful in choosing some unique Christmas gifts.
