A beloved Japanese restaurant chain has been given the green light to set up a new West End spot.
As the Glasgow Times reported in September, Okome applied for planning permission to set up a new restaurant at 1190 Argyle Street in Finnieston.
The sushi venue was this week given permission to take over the empty unit at 1190 Argyle Street in Finnieston.

According to plans, the new development will provide residents with "a new dining experience" and "animate the streetscape", according to the applicant.
Okome serves Japanese dishes, including rice bowls, poke bowls, ramen, sushi and more. They have restaurants in Glasgow, Paisley and Clarkston.
