UPDATE: Winston Hastings Kearse was reported home safe on Monday afternoon.

In a Facebook post, his father Toby Kearse wrote: "UPDATE, Winston has now been returned home safe and sound. Please share around to let people know."

A young boy from Glasgow has been reported missing for three days as his dad pleads for his return

Winston Hastings Kearse, 15, from Shawlands went missing on Friday, November 10, after he reportedly left his mum's house without money, phone or a bank card. 

Winston is described as 5'5", slim build, with dark hair and is usually dressed in black tracksuit/joggers with black trainers, usually Nike.

His dad, Tony Kearse, described him as  "bright, smart, streetwise, intelligent, charming and mischievous."

His dad also claims that his son left a note which said he had gone to "clear his head"

In a statement posted on social media, Toby said: "My 15-year-old son, Winston Hastings Kearse, has been missing since Friday morning.

"He left his mum's house in Shawlands, Glasgow, without his phone, bank card or any money, leaving a note saying he wasn't going to school and wanted time to clear his head (or words to that effect).

"As far as anyone is aware, the only possessions he took with him were his two teddies. He is about 5'5", slim build, dark hair, usually dresses in black tracksuit/joggers with black sneakers, usually Nike.

"He is a bright, smart, streetwise young man, intelligent, charming and mischievous. If anyone has any information/idea on his whereabouts/has seen him, please contact police Scotland on 101 immediately."

Others have taken to social media to appeal for help of Winston's whereabouts.

A Police spokesperson said: "I can confirm that Winston has been reported missing to us and enquires are ongoing to trace him"

Those who have information should contact 101 referencing incident number 0695 of 10th.
