Cops have sealed off a major city centre street this morning.
Pictures sent to the Glasgow Times show police tape cornering off a section of Buchanan Street, just outside Sainsburys and the Royal Concert Hall.
It is known known why the street has been taped off, but red paint can be seen splattered Sainsbury's, and a few people appear to be sitting on the ground outside the store.
There appears to be a large police presence at the scene, with passer-by's observing the incident.
Police Scotland have been contacted for comment.
Sainsburys and Buchanan Galleries have also been contacted for comment.
