A mystery man in Lanarkshire is one million pounds richer after winning the lottery.
Known only as Mr M, the lucky man won the £1,000,000 National Lottery prize by matching five main numbers plus the Bonus Ball in the draw on Saturday, October 28.
He is planning to splash the cash on a new home.
In a thrilling twist, the win comes just 10 days after The National Lottery announced they are on the hunt for a EuroMillions UK Millionaire Maker winner.
The unclaimed ticket, bought from a shop on October 31, is worth a £1,000,000 fortune.
The winning code on October 31, 2023 was VCVX 86421 and the lucky ticket holder has until April 28, 2024 to claim.
Andy Carter, senior winners’ advisor at The National Lottery, said: “Huge congratulations to Mr M for winning this fantastic prize.
"He has become a millionaire overnight and can now look forward to buying a new home.
"But we are missing another millionaire! If you bought a EuroMillions ticket in North Lanarkshire for the draw on October 31, we urge you to check your tickets.
