Glasgow's Irn Bru Carnival will host an 'adults only' event for the first time ever.

The annual event, which returns to the SEC next month, is having a one-off session for guests over the age of 16.

The event will be held on Thursday, January 11 from 4pm to 9pm.

As well as all the thrilling rides and stalls, guests can enjoy an exclusive set from DJ Dominique accompanied by special effects including strobe lighting.

Glasgow Times:

To accompany the music and rides, there will be a range of food options including burgers, salt and chilli chips and churros.

The Irn Bru Carnival is an alcohol-free event and anyone under the influence of drugs or alcohol will not be permitted to enter.

A festive favourite for over 100 years, the carnival features more than 65 attractions.

Glasgow Times:

Over 16s attending can enjoy the brand-new Air Raid, high-flying Star Fighter, the Hotel of Terror, the classic Waltzers and more.

Tickets to see DJ Dominique are limited and access is only permitted with a wristband, which can be added alongside tickets during the online booking process.
