A historic Glasgow hospital building has been cordoned off and demolition date confirmed.
The Queen Mother’s Hospital in Yorkhill closed its doors in 2010, following a review of acute services by NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde.
Now, the building has officially been taped off to be pulled down.
NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde has also confirmed that the demolition will be complete by October 2024.
A spokesperson said: "The Queen Mother Maternity Hospital has not been in use since 2010 and demolition work on the building currently underway is scheduled to be concluded in October 2024.
"There are no implications for any services operated by NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde due to this work."

Following a year-long “Hands Off Yorkhill” campaign run by the Glasgow Times, £100 million was allocated to fund a new joint hospital in Glasgow, which will replace the Queen Mother’s Hospital and the Royal Hospital for Sick Children (RHSC).
