An attack on board a train has sparked a CCTV appeal.
The Scotrail service was headed for Glasgow Queen Street from Edinburgh Waverley on Sunday, September 3 around 6pm when the assault occurred.
Now, British Transport Police have released images of a man they believe holds the key to their investigation.
Officers urge the man or any members of the public who recognise him to contact the police.
The male is described as white, approximately 5ft 8 in with a heavy build and aged around 40 years old.
He has auburn or red hair and a beard.
He was seen to be wearing distinctive bright-coloured pattern trousers, a baseball cap and a denim jacket with a Tasmanian Devil motif on its back.
Anyone with information is urged to contact British Transport Police by text on 61016 or calling them on 0800 40 50 40 and quoting reference 2300103757.
