A woman was found injured just metres away from a bustling city funfair on New Year's Day.
Revellers were heading to the nearby Irn Bru Carnival at the SEC on Monday afternoon when they noticed people helping the woman in the car park on Congress Road.
It is understood an ambulance was called to the scene.
Cops did not attend the incident, but they confirmed they had been made aware of an injured woman.
An investigation has been launched into the incident.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 2.40pm on Monday, January 1, 2024, we were made aware that a woman had earlier been found injured in the Congress Road area of Glasgow.
“She was taken to hospital and enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances.”
