A derelict plot of land in Bargeddie could become a new refuelling and recharging station for vehicles if a planning application is approved.
Commercial real estate firm EG Property is seeking permission from North Lanarkshire Council to build a petrol station, EV charging bays, car wash and drive through coffee shop on the site in question, a 10,000 square metre plot lying to the east of Coatbridge Road.
Neighbouring properties, which include Lochside Manor Care Home, have been notified of the planning application but at time of writing no comments had been published on the council’s website.
Anyone wishing to view the documentation submitted in relation to this proposal can do so visiting the council website and searching for planning application reference 23/01253/FUL.
