A MAN has been arrested after allegedly being caught driving a stolen car while drink driving in Glasgow.

Officers say the 27-year-old was reportedly caught driving a nicked motor in the Partick area.

After stopping the man in the city's West End, police say he was allegedly drinking and drug driving, he provided false details, he didn't have a licence or insurance, and was in possession of cocaine.

He was taken into custody to appear in court.

On top of that, officers also seized two other stolen cars in Glasgow last night.

A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: "Glasgow Road Policing recovered a total of three stolen vehicles on the night shift.

"One of these was being driven by a 27-year-old in Patrick who was unfit to drive through drink/drugs, provided false details, did not have a licence/insurance and in possession of cocaine.

"Held custody for court!"
