A MAN has been arrested after a pensioner was left in a serious condition following a hit and run in Glasgow on Hogmanay.
We previously reported that 999 crews raced to Cardonald's Mosspark Drive between Arbroath Avenue and Tealing Avenue, at around 8pm on Sunday, December 31 after receiving a report of the crash.
During the incident, a 69-year-old woman was hit by a motorbike.
Now, officers have revealed a 23-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the collision after cops conducted a search warrant at a property in the Mosspark area on Wednesday, January 17.
Following the horror crash, the woman was rushed to hospital where staff described her condition as serious but stable.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: "Enquiries are continuing."
