A driver has been charged after he 'tried to pull the wool over cop's eyes'.
Road Policing Scotland revealed that the driver presented an international driving permit to officers on the roadside after being pulled over.

However, it turned out that the driver was disqualified from driving in the UK and was not insured.
He was charged, reported and his vehicle was seized.
Taking to X, Road Policing Scotland wrote: "100% for effort for the driver of this car. But unfortunately, the computer says "NO".
"Glasgow Road Police stopped him earlier today when he tried to pull the wool over our eyes about being disqualified.
"Charged, reported and seized #S165."
