A Glasgow church will be repaired and refurbished following a successful bid.

St Peter's in Partick will be upgraded internally and externally.

A planning application was approved by the council this week with a few conditions designed to keep the character of the structure.

The work is detailed in documents and will include repairs to the stonework, windows and roof.

A contractor will also be hired to make sure there is no asbestos in the building.

The aim is to conserve and protect the B-listed site on Hyndland Road.
