COPS have recovered a stolen motor from a residential area in Glasgow.

Officers say they spotted the car in the city's Craigend whilst out on patrol on Tuesday, February 6.

Police say when they found the vehicle, it 'didn't seem right'.

Following that, they discovered it was displaying cloned number plates and was nicked.

It has since been returned to its owner.

A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: "Whilst on patrol earlier today, Glasgow Road Policing spotted this car parked and something didn't seem right.

"Checks revealed it was displaying cloned number plates and was an outstanding stolen vehicle.

"Recovered, forensics, returned to the owner."
