A retailer could take over an empty unit at Glasgow Forge Shopping Centre.
A planning application was submitted to the council to put up new signage and make changes to accommodate a British Heart Foundation store.
The unit which previously was home to Harvey's Furniture Store could be transformed into a shop for the charity.
According to the papers, it would be divided into a customer and a storage area.
The existing door would be retained.

If successful, the bid would also mean new signs would be put up with the organisation's logo.
The application is currently being discussed by the planning committee and a decision is expected by Thursday, April 11.
