A driver has been handed a fine after allegedly being caught on their phone in Glasgow.
Road cops say the motorists 'came to their attention' when they didn't move away from a set of traffic lights in the city.
Following that, officers say when the driver did move, they were 'so intent on their phone' that they never 'noticed' two police motorbikes next to them.
Due to this, the road user was handed six points and a £200 fine.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: "The National Motorcycle Unit were out in Glasgow when this car came to their attention as it didn't move from a set of traffic lights.
"When it did, the driver was so intent on their phone they never noticed two marked police motorcycles driving alongside.
"Six points, £200 fine."
