Two men have been arrested at a Glasgow music venue. 

Officers attended SWG3 in the city's West End at around 1am on Sunday, February 18.

They arrested two men, aged 31 and 19, in connection with alleged drug offences. 

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Officers attended premises on Eastvale Place in Glasgow around 1am on Sunday, 18 February.

“Two men, aged 31 and 19, were arrested in connection with drug offences. They will be reported to the Procurator Fiscal.”

It comes after we reported that an 18-year-old woman collapsed at SWG3 in the early hours of Tuesday, January 2 after attending the Teletech Glasgow: NYD 2024 event. 

She was rushed to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital after staff called an ambulance for her where she was later pronounced dead.

Cops confirmed at the time that they were investigating her death, with one line of enquiry being considered that it was drug-related.

We also reported Scott Allison and Marcus Dick, both 18, died after attending an event headlined by DJ Ben Hemsley at SWG3's Galvanizers Yard on Saturday, August 12, 2023.

Police said at the time they were treating both deaths as drug-related.
