Thousands of illegal cigarettes and vapes were found in Glasgow shops.

Glasgow City Council's Trading Standards team carried out a search with cops and HMRC on Tuesday as part of a joint operation.

The teams raided four stores in the city's Maryhill.

Over 38,000 illicit cigarettes, 2.5kg of tobacco and 600 illegal vapes were seized.

Officers were helped by sniffer dog Boo, who is the city's only tobacco detection dog.
