A popular Glasgow brewery is set to give away a free birthday bash as part of a leap year celebration.
WEST is on the hunt for any Glaswegian who was born on February 29, 1952 - so they can give them their first 'legal' pint.
It comes as the brewery prepares to celebrate its own 18th birthday next month.
Since it opened on March 10, 2006, the family-friendly brewery, bar, and restaurant based in a former carpet factory on Glasgow Green has become a 'Glasgow institution'.
Managing Director Matt Munro said: “It’s a big year for us; if WEST brewery was a person, it could finally order a pint.
“We began to think about ways to celebrate and what better way than to throw a birthday bash for some other people who are celebrating their own birthday.
“If someone you know is celebrating their big birthday this year on February 29th, tell them to get in touch so they don’t miss out on a night to remember.
"Who knows if we’ll be feeling as generous in four years time?”
To win complimentary beers, burgers, and birthday cake, all you have to do is send a picture of yourself with your driving licence or passport showing your date of birth as February 29, 1952, to info@westbeer.com.
