A man has died following a crash in Glasgow's East End.
The collision took place around 11.05am on Thursday, February 22, and involved a car and a parked vehicle on Provan Road.
We previously reported that two people were rushed to hospital as a result.
It has now been confirmed that the driver, a 78-year-old man, was taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary, where he died during Thursday evening.
The road was closed and re-opened around 4pm.
Cops have confirmed that enquiries are ongoing.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 11.05am on Thursday, February 22, 2024, we were called to a report of a crash involving a car and a parked vehicle on Provan Road in Glasgow.
“Emergency services attended and the driver, a 78-year-old man was taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary, where he died during Thursday evening.
“The road was closed and re-opened around 4pm.
"Enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.”
