Cops have deployed drones during today's Celtic v Motherwell game.

The force revealed that their specialist air unit will be active during Sunday's league fixture at Fir Park.

This is "to keep everyone in attendance safe", officers said.

A spokesperson for the Police Scotland Air Unit said: "The Air Support Unit will assist in Motherwell on Sunday the 25th for Motherwell v Celtic.

"A police drone will be deployed to provide the commander with an overview, and help keep those in attendance safe."
