Dozens of Niall Horan fans queued up outside the OVO Hydro today ahead of the singer's show at the West End venue tonight.

Glasgow Times:

With some queueing as early as '2am and midnight' to see the former One Direction star, fans were spotted sitting on the ground in foil blankets and winter clothing as they braved the rain and cold temperatures.

Despite the early rise and weather, these hardcore fans have said it is all worth it for the Slow Hands hitmaker.

Glasgow Times:

Emma Dunnachie, 23, said: "I think people have been here since like 2am and even midnight.

"This is my first time seeing him when he's not been in One Direction - I saw them live a few years ago at Murrayfield in Edinburgh. They were amazing, just incredible.

"I'm excited to see him tonight - it's definitely worth all the rain and cold."

Glasgow Times:

Rebecca Renwick, 16, had been waiting in the queue for about 45 minutes when she chatted to the Glasgow Times.

She added: "We're excited for the show.

"I never got to see One Direction live but I have always loved them. I really hope he plays Fools Gold tonight.

"People have been really nice out in the queues and we've made some friends."

Glasgow Times:

Emma Bancks and Valerie Shavez are another two who became friends after waiting in the queue for about two-and-a-bit hours together.

Talking on the experience, Emma, 17, said: "I've been here since about 10.30am.

"I loved One Direction, of course.

"The setlist for his shows so far have been rotational - I'm really hoping he plays Paper Houses and a bit of One Direction.

Valerie, 21, added: "I've loved One Direction since about 2010. I can't wait."

Glasgow Times:

Fans of the Irishman were warned by OVO Hydro bosses on Monday to not to camp outside the venue ahead of the show.

It comes after the Glasgow Times reported that dozens of fans camped by the Hydro doors days before The 1975's show in the city on February 8.

Glasgow Times:

Door for Horan's show tonight will open at 6.30pm with the event set to start at 7.30pm.

The venue has a curfew set for 11pm.
